you're right. everything isn't a logic problem. sometimes, things just work.

i'm as sure as i am about anything else in my life right now that we are one of those few things that do. no one can ever be afforded the luxury of absolute certainty, because in this life there are no absolutes. but you make me happy. and you care for me. and you make me laugh. and in this life where there ARE no absolutes, a person has to hold on to the few things that make them smile. and you are that for me.

so consider this my new doctrine of faith. we will defy odds. we can weather any storm. it's all about positivity, compromise, and faith (not that kind, well, maybe that kind).

i really do love you.

location: Back in Prague.

I just wanted to post a quick note that I found the place I want to live in Europe, if I ever do that. Heidelberg Germany is the most beautiful small town that I have ever seen, and in three short days, I fell in love with it. Go to my webshots account right now and view the beauty.

Sad news for all of you fish lovers.

And all of you people who read this, and who also live in my Congressional District (1st), vote O'Donnell.  A) he's Anthony's Uncle and B) Davis is a carbon copy of Bush.  So vote O'Donnell, unless you like that kind of thing.  Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Drogba is such a Puss.

location: a living room in Prague
music: Czech Soccer announcers

I'm writing the entry absentmindedly as I watch the FC Barcelona-Chelsea game. Previously, I was a Man U supporter, cause I like Ronaldo. But I think I'm gonna jump ship over to Chelsea. Like their style, other than Drogba, and they're a fucking all star team. And I like the Yankees, so it fits.

Kyle came this week, and we had a good time. He had some troubles early on, but they were taken care of quickly, and I showed him around this little city. We covered most of all the sites in 2 days. Granted, there were quite a few churches that missed, but how many of those do you really need to see?
I was really glad he came, seeing as I'd say we've gotten closer since this summer, as he was the only guy who came back into town to hang out. Plus he's my sports knowledge equal. Which is a plus. It sounds like I'm gushing about him to the girls. So. Whatever. I'm glad he came to Prague. I'm not gay, alright? Damn. Jesus. Leave me alone.

Mom and Dad come this friday, so I get to hit all the sites, one more time. It will be nice to see them too, and it'll most likely make want to go home even more. I love Prague, don't get me wrong. But it gets old being a foreigner. It probably gets old being in Foreigner too, but I digress. I can't wait to get home and see everything and everyone. Though I do need more male friends at CNU...was thinking about it today, and that number is pathetically low.

Scheduled classes, see AIM profile for those. If you're in one, let me know.
Well, back to the game. Later.

I've fallen off the face of the planet. Kyle is here, and it's exactly what I thought would happen. It feels like I'm at home, but also in Prague. Just what I needed. He did, however, lose his passport on the way to the hotel so today we're on a mission to remedy that.
Last week I went to Austria, and I've gotta say...it's just like any other city. Perhaps I'm becoming a little jaded from seeing everything all at once, and I'm sure one day, when I'm old, I'll be amazed at my outlook right now, but it's the way I feel. Not to say I'm not enjoying the opportunity, just would have been better more spread out.
I'm figuring out what I'm going to do about graduation...well, better said, After graduation. It looks like I have to take a year off and start in Fall 08 because of the application process, and lack of GRE taking-atude. I really want to get into an elite school, maybe U of Michigan, and would need to crush the GRE's (Note to Nick, UM has a really good linguistics program).
Maybe I'll just sell ice cream cones to little kids.

I have class, sorry I haven't been keeping in touch too much lately. I miss everybody, a lot.

With my Mom and Kyle prodding me, I thought I should get on here and yet again promise a future entry. See the problem is, I just don't like blogging. I pretend to, but I just don't. I don't think I have anything that important to report.
This week, we have speakers, one of whom I will miss due to my trip to Paris this thursday. They're both supposed to be great, and I've already met one, and he seems nice. I can tell you about Paris on Sunday.
Italy was great. Rome for the sights, and the history. Florence for the food and for the people. And Venice was neat to see, yet to confusing for me to really enjoy it.
Kyle will be here next week, so that should be pretty sweet. Yeppp. That's all I want to type right now. Hope everyone is alright.
Jon
